Founded by Dickson Griswold in 2011, Highwater Wealth Management, LLC, is a wealth advisory firm based in Denver, Colorado. We are dedicated to helping our clients invest wisely and plan thoroughly for their long term financial success. Highwater Wealth Management operates as a fee-only advisor and as a fiduciary. Highwater does not accept commissions, allowing us to be completely objective in our investment selections and trading practices without any conflict of interest. Meet the Team
Dickson has over 25 years of wealth management experience. He began his career with Waters, Parkerson & Co Inc. of New Orleans, LA, where he served as an equity portfolio manager as well as lead fixed income manager. He relocated to Colorado in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina. Dickson received his BA in English & History from the University of Mississippi, and during his career has been registered with both FINRA and the SEC. He obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2008. Dickson lives in Denver with his wife, Gentry, and sons Jack and Harris. He is a past president of Southeast Denver Baseball League, past board member of Anchor Center for Blind Children, volunteers with the Morgan Adams Foundation, and serves on the Colorado Academy Board of Trustees. In his free time Dickson enjoys cycling and restoring vintage cars.
Kathy Mezei Raabe
Kathy has over 30 years of wealth management experience. She began her career with Nuveen, and later served as National Director of the Financial Advisor Division for Nations/Marsico Funds. Kathy spent the last 11 years with Capital Investment Counsel where she specialized in portfolio management and client relationships. Kathy is a past Executive Director of Corporate Relations for the United States Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation. She holds degrees in International Relations and Economics from The American University in Washington, D.C., and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. In her free time, Kathy enjoys photography, cycling and skiing and spending time with her husband John and son Max.
Sara D. Boyd
Sara has over 35 years of wealth management experience. A native of Connecticut, she began her career at Union Trust Co. in New Haven, CT, and worked at United Bank & Trust Co. in Hartford, CT and Chemical Bank in New York City before relocating with her family to Denver in 1994. For many years she worked at Wagner Investment Management (WIM) and then at CoBiz Wealth Management. Sara has a BA in Economics from University of Arizona and a MBA in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Sara lives with her husband, Bill, in Lakewood. They have two daughters, Devon and Aubrey who have graduated college and currently live out of state, pursuing their careers. Sara has a passion for socially responsible and impact investing and social enterprise, as well as music, art and travel. She is a member of Beyond Our Borders and co-chair of their gender lens investment committee. Beyond Our Borders is part of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado and is comprised of a diverse group of philanthropic women with common values who fund US based organizations that support women and girls beyond Colorado’s borders. She is also a supporter of Capital Sisters International and Friendship Bridge, and prior board member of Women Work Together, all of which focus on helping women and girls in developing countries by providing micro-credit, education and leadership development.
Greg K. Giuffra
Greg has over 10 years in the financial industry, starting in wealth management at Charles Schwab & Company. During his years as a financial consultant, he also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Asset Management Specialist®. Greg has also held FINRA series 7, 66, and 63 licenses, as well as a Health & Life insurance license. In 2013 and 2014, Greg was ranked in the top 10% of all Schwab representatives nationally for new client growth. A native of New Jersey, Greg is a graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He continues to be involved as a CU Advocate volunteer. In his free time, Greg enjoys golf, basketball, running and travel as well as spending time with his wife Lauren and two children, Michael and Maddie.
Sharon is a skilled professional in areas of management, operations, mergers and acquisitions, IT, accounting and compliance. She has extensive knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Sharon spent over 10 years with Capital Investment Counsel, where she was an integral manager helping to develop and grow the firm. Sharon received her BA in English and History from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys yoga, volunteering with historical entities, and volunteering as a Therapy Dog Handler with her dog Ginger.
Kristi has over 15 years of experience helping clients prioritize their financial goals so they appear less daunting and more attainable. She helps people focus on what they want to accomplish this year, next year, in five years and by retirement. Kristi vows not to jump to conclusions — because she knows that just because a financial planning strategy worked in the past, it doesn’t mean it’s the right solution for you.
Tish has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. Her experience consists of management, compliance, planning, and providing investment expertise and advice for clients at four of the largest Fortune 500 Financial Institutions—Charles Schwab, UBS Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch and Alex Brown & Sons. Tish is a seasoned client service representative, skilled in all facets of financial products available to high net worth individuals, foundations and small business owners. She has a strong emphasis on personal client service, operational problem solving, and wealth preservation and investment strategies. In her spare time Tish enjoys tennis, Colorado winter sports, cooking and catering to her two very spoiled lhasa apso dogs.
